Jack Sheerin is a Registered Migration Agent with extensive experience in migration law, particularly in complex visa applications and client advocacy. Having commenced his career as a paralegal and administrator at PLAYFAIR, Jack gained seven years of practical experience that led him to complete a Graduate Certificate in Migration Law at the Australian National University. He was officially admitted as a Registered Migration Agent in 2015. Jack has been instrumental in preparing and submitting Temporary Protection Visa (TPV) and Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (SHEV) applications under the Commonwealth-funded PAIS program. His work has involved deployments on taskforces across New South Wales and interstate, demonstrating his flexibility and dedication to supporting clients with urgent needs. Currently, he manages PLAYFAIR’s Victorian office, where he oversees immigration advice and services tailored to individuals experiencing complex challenges within the PAIS framework. His prior experience in hospitality has provided him with a firm understanding of corporate governance, complementing his migration work. Additionally, Jack’s background working with at-risk youth and juveniles in Cape Town, South Africa, informs his empathetic and client-centred approach.
