Andrew Filby is an Associate Solicitor at Evans Law, bringing a well-rounded legal background since completing his law degree in 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, and a Bachelor of Arts, providing a comprehensive foundation to his legal career. Andrew’s practice encompasses a broad range of areas including conveyancing, lease transactions, sale of business matters, family and de facto law, building law, civil litigation, trusts and wills, as well as traffic and criminal law. This diverse experience enables him to assist clients with a variety of legal issues, tailored to their individual circumstances. Beyond his legal work, Andrew is actively involved in the community. He is a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and Newcastle Rotary, and serves as an honorary solicitor to the Newcastle Maritime Museum Society Inc., reflecting his commitment to contributing to the local community both professionally and personally.
