Imran is a Partner based in our Melbourne offices, bringing a broad depth of experience acquired since joining the firm in 2016. Prior to this, he held senior roles as a solicitor and general manager, managing teams of lawyers and support staff. This background has equipped him with strong leadership skills and an insight into effective law firm operations. Imran approaches each matter with strategic and commercial awareness, recognised for delivering pragmatic and sensible advice that prioritises positive and practical outcomes. His client service is highly regarded across multiple sectors. He practices as a generalist lawyer, with extensive experience in commercial litigation, complex estate and property disputes, corporate advisory, sales and acquisitions, and all facets of property law. Imran often acts for prominent property developers, advising on contracts and agreements for large developments and subdivisions. He also provides guidance to corporate clients in relation to business ventures and acquisitions spanning diverse industries domestically and internationally. Outside of work, Imran devotes time to his wife and two daughters, while maintaining professional relationships through networking and exploring new business prospects. Travel and cricket are among his personal interests, and he values his family as his greatest accomplishment alongside contributing to the firm’s growth. Imran holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Information Systems from the University of Tasmania, complemented by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Diploma of Business.
