Tessa Theocharous serves as the Principal Solicitor at Kurnai Legal Practice, bringing an exceptional depth of expertise to her role. She completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honours and Bachelor of Law degrees at James Cook University, subsequently undertaking her Articles of Clerkship in 2003. Her legal journey officially began with her admission to practice in Victoria in 2004. Tessa's career commenced with the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service, where she honed her skills as a criminal defence lawyer, balancing roles in both private practice and the community legal sector. This experience laid the groundwork for her to establish Kurnai Legal Practice in 2008.
