Roland Budd

Peter Bahlmann has been practising as a solicitor in New South Wales since 1996, following his admission to the Supreme Court of NSW. He holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours, complemented by degrees in Arts and Theology, reflecting a well-rounded academic background. Peter began his legal career at one of the region’s longest established firms, where he developed a comprehensive foundation across general practice. In 2003, he established his own practice in partnership, building a strong client base in Wollongong. Over time, his work has centred on commercial matters, estate planning, and estate litigation, responding to the evolving needs of his clients. Beyond his legal practice, Peter has demonstrated leadership within the sporting community, serving as Chairman of the Wollongong Hawks basketball team from 2009 to 2014, and as a Commissioner of the National Basketball League for two years. His professional experience spans a broad range of areas including building and construction law, business and commercial law, civil and commercial disputes, conveyancing, employment law, property and development law, as well as matters relating to the sale and purchase of shares and shareholders’ agreements. Additionally, Peter advises on wills and estate planning, including testamentary trusts and special disability trusts, and is experienced in estate disputes and litigation.
