Before establishing Edge Legal, he led the Employment & Safety Group at a mid-tier firm and honed his expertise at a top-tier law firm. He also served as a consultant offering on-site services in the mining sector, enriching his background in workers compensation law. Rod excels in one-on-one consulting for senior managers and offers strategic advice to Boards and Executive Managers on intricate and sensitive employment matters. His commitment to professional development extends to delivering workplace training programs tailored for senior managers and HR teams. Notably, he has defended Termination of Employment claims and represented employers in various applications, industrial disputes, and scope order hearings at the Fair Work Commission. His legal acumen is further evident in his defence of industrial law breach claims and restraint of trade cases in both State and Federal Courts.
