Bart Gunderson

David McEachern has had a distinguished career with Cranston McEachern, joining the firm in 1960, gaining admission as a solicitor in 1965, and becoming a partner in 1967. He took on the role of managing partner in 1985, continuing the legacy established by his father, Cranston, the firm's founder. David’s extensive experience covers corporate law, banking and finance, securities, and property law. He has provided advice to both international and domestic banks on a variety of matters, including loan and credit facilities, syndications, and regulatory compliance across commercial and retail sectors. David retired from his partnership role in July 2016 but remains involved with the firm as a consultant. Outside of his legal career, he enjoys golf and travelling.
