Blayne Ledger

Blayne Ledger serves as the Principal Solicitor at Barron & Allen Lawyers, a firm with a rich history dating back to 1939 and a strong presence on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. After merging his previous practice with Barron & Allen, Blayne has continued to guide the firm in resolving complex disputes, court litigation, and handling diverse transactions. His leadership ensures that clients receive top-tier legal support across a spectrum of needs. Previously, as the Sole Principal of Ledger & Co Lawyers, Blayne demonstrated remarkable success, including a notable victory in the High Court of Australia—a rare achievement for solicitors in smaller practices. In 2012, he successfully represented a client in the NSW Court of Appeal against one of the major banks, marking a significant accomplishment in his career. Further back, while leading Ledger Commercial & Property Lawyers, Blayne steered the firm through a successful transition that broadened its capabilities beyond property and commercial services to include court representation. His early career saw him as a Partner at Ledger Nguyen Lawyers, based in Surfers Paradise. Blayne's academic background includes a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws with a focus on Commercial and Corporate Law from Bond University, along with a Diploma of Taxation Law from the University of Sydney.
