Michael Malley

Michael Malley is the principal solicitor and founder of Malleys Lawyers, bringing a wealth of experience across various areas of law. Since beginning his legal career in 1982, Michael has developed a comprehensive understanding of the legal system, supported by a Diploma in Law granted by the Barristers and Solicitors Admission Boards. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, with rights to appear in all NSW courts, and is also registered on the Roll of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia, allowing him to appear in federal courts as both solicitor and barrister. Michael holds accreditation in personal injury law by The Law Society of NSW and actively contributes to the profession through committee memberships, including a role on The Law Society of NSW’s Personal Injury Law Advisory Committee. His involvement extends to the Eastern Suburbs Law Society, where he has served as committee member, Vice President, and President. Under Michael’s leadership, Malleys Lawyers has been recognised for its commitment to client service, receiving the Best Customer Service Law Firm Sydney award in 2021, and most recently, the Brightest and Best Business Award for Professional Services in 2025, presented by Waverley Council.
