Lyn Cox

Lyn Cox is a Special Counsel with extensive experience in family law, including property and parenting matters, Financial Agreements, Child Support, and Intervention Orders. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), a Bachelor of Arts, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Before focusing on family law, Lyn held various roles within the State Government. Notably, she served as Senior Registrar of Public Sector Appeals and spent seven years as a Conciliator and Senior Conciliator with the Anti-Discrimination Commission. Additionally, Lyn has contributed to legal education as a lecturer and marker in Environmental Law and Corporate Law at the University of Southern Queensland. Lyn is admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Victoria. She is an active member of the Family Law Sections of the Law Council of Australia and the Law Institute of Victoria. Her broad public sector background, combined with her dedicated family law practice, equips her to provide informed and practical legal counsel.
