Jay Tseng

Jay Tseng is Special Counsel at Enyo Lawyers, bringing extensive experience in large-scale commercial litigation and complex dispute resolution. His practice encompasses international arbitration and has a particular emphasis on matters relating to construction, mining and resources. Jay has also handled shareholder disputes, regulatory investigations, senate inquiries, and cases involving foreign bribery and corruption. He advises a diverse client base including public and private Australian and international corporations, high net worth individuals and politically exposed persons. Jay has practised across multiple jurisdictions, having worked in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney and London, with a keen interest in cross-border disputes and international arbitration. He holds admissions to practise law in Australia, New Zealand and the Senior Courts of England & Wales. Before joining Enyo Lawyers, Jay gained valuable experience at both top-tier and mid-tier law firms, and served as Associate to the Honourable Justice David JS Jackson in the Supreme Court of Queensland’s Commercial List. Jay’s professional achievements have been recognised through several accolades. He was named a winner of the 2020 Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Award for Dispute Resolution and Litigation, and was a finalist for the 2020 Arbitration Practitioner of the Year as well as the Under 30 ADR Practitioner of the Year. He was also a finalist for the 2019 Australian Disputes Centre Young ADR Practitioner of the Year and won the 2019 Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) Australian Arbitration Essay Competition.
