About Simone
Simone is the Legal Practitioner Director of the firm, bringing extensive experience in family law. She graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2003 with a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and a Bachelor of Business (Management) (with Distinction). Following two years of training as an Articled Clerk, Simone was admitted as a Solicitor in December 2003. Simone initially worked in a small general practice firm, gaining experience across a range of legal matters before focusing exclusively on family law from 2005. Since October 2006, she has been with Anthony Black Family Law, serving as the Legal Practitioner Director since the firm’s establishment. Her practice encompasses all aspects of family law, with particular expertise in negotiating and resolving issues related to child care arrangements, property settlements, child support, and domestic violence protection orders. Simone has a strong interest in Pre-Nuptial and Cohabitation Agreements and is regularly involved in court advocacy, representing clients in contested hearings when disputes cannot be resolved through negotiation. Known for her pragmatic approach, Simone provides clients with clear guidance on likely outcomes, drawing on her substantial experience in court proceedings to deliver effective representation and informed advice.
